This one started with a question I kept circling back to during my second year: how much can a surface tell you before you even touch it? I built a small rig with force-sensitive film sandwiched under a flexible skin, then spent a few weeks just pressing on it in different ways, trying to figure out what the readings actually meant. The interesting part wasn’t the sensor data itself, it was working out which parts of that data were worth showing someone, and which parts should just quietly inform the system underneath.
